Zombie
A potent tiki cocktail created by Don the Beachcomber in the 1930s.
Ingredients:
1 oz light rum
1 oz dark rum
1 oz apricot brandy
1 oz pineapple juice
1 oz lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
1 dash Angostura bitters
1/2 oz 151-proof rum, for float
Mint sprig and cherry, for garnish
Instructions:
Fill a shaker with ice. Add the light rum, dark rum, apricot brandy, pineapple juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and bitters.
Shake well until chilled.
Strain into a tiki mug or highball glass filled with ice.
Float the 151-proof rum on top.
Garnish with a mint sprig and a cherry.
