Turmeric-Ginger Syrup
A versatile syrup that adds health benefits and flavor to your cocktails.
Ingredients:
1 cup water
1 cup honey
1-inch piece of fresh turmeric, peeled and grated
1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated
Instructions:
In a small saucepan, combine the water, honey, grated turmeric, and grated ginger.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool.
Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean jar.
Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
