Turmeric-Ginger Syrup

A versatile syrup that adds health benefits and flavor to your cocktails.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1-inch piece of fresh turmeric, peeled and grated
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the water, honey, grated turmeric, and grated ginger.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean jar.
  5. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
