Speakeasy Sipper

A Prohibition-era cocktail that can be aged to enhance its flavors, capturing the essence of the Roaring Twenties.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz honey syrup
  • 1 dash of orange bitters
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Combine gin, lemon juice, honey syrup, and orange bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Stir until well chilled, about 30 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
  5. For aging, pour the cocktail into a small barrel or bottle with oak staves, and let it sit for 2-4 weeks before enjoying.
