Ingredients:
2 oz dark rum
1 oz pineapple juice
0.5 oz lime juice
0.5 oz smoked simple syrup
0.5 oz orgeat syrup
Dash of Angostura bitters
Pineapple wedge and cherry for garnish
Smoked simple syrup recipe: 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon liquid smoke. Combine water and sugar in a saucepan, heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, add liquid smoke, and let cool.
Instructions:
Fill a shaker with ice.
Add the dark rum, pineapple juice, lime juice, smoked simple syrup, orgeat syrup, and a dash of Angostura bitters.
Shake well until chilled.
Strain into a tiki mug filled with crushed ice.
