Simple Syrup

Simple Syrup

A basic syrup used as a sweetener in cocktails.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring until the sugar completely dissolves.
  3. Once the sugar has dissolved, remove the syrup from heat and let it cool.
  4. Transfer the syrup to a clean bottle or jar and store it in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to a month.
