Ingredients:

• 1 fresh lemon

Instructions:

1. Using a sharp paring knife or a channel knife, carefully cut a thin strip of peel from the lemon, avoiding the bitter white pith.
2. Hold the strip of peel over the drink, skin side facing down. Pinch the ends of the peel together to release the oils into the drink.
3. Rub the peel around the rim of the glass, then drop it into the drink or drape it over the edge of the glass.
