Lemon Basil Spritz
A refreshing cocktail that captures the essence of a Mediterranean summer with lemon and basil.
Ingredients:
2 oz vodka
1 oz lemon juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
4 fresh basil leaves
2 oz Prosecco
Soda water
Lemon wheel and basil leaf for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare a sous-vide bath at 135°F (57°C).
Combine vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, and basil leaves in a vacuum-sealed bag. Place the bag in the sous-vide bath for 1 hour to infuse.
Remove the bag from the bath, strain the infused liquid into a shaker with ice, and shake until well chilled.
Strain into a wine glass filled with ice, top with Prosecco and a splash of soda water.
Garnish with a lemon wheel and a fresh basil leaf.
