Lavender Simple Syrup

A simple syrup infused with the delicate flavor of lavender, perfect for adding a floral touch to cocktails.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, and dried lavender.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let the syrup steep for 30 minutes.
  5. Strain out the lavender and let the syrup cool.
  6. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
